The much-anticipated second season of "Euphoria" has finally premiered yesterday at 9 p.m., January 9. The eight-episode season is airing on HBO but will be available on HBO Max.
The season 2 trailer opens with Rue, played by Zendaya, attending a meeting with a mysterious rolling suitcase. Having relapsed at the end of season 1 after parting ways with love interest Jules, played by Hunter Schafer, it's not clear if Rue wants to recover or go deeper into the world she knows through drug use. It looks like it will be sucking her in either way.
