Aims and objectives

The Youth Peace Camp 2025, organized by the Council of Europe, is a peacebuilding and dialogue program for young people from conflict-affected regions. It brings together participants from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Israel, Palestine, and Serbia* to engage in human rights education, intercultural learning, and conflict transformation.
Objectives of the Program:
Dialogue & Peacebuilding – Encouraging young people from different sides of conflicts to communicate and understand each other’s perspectives. 
Human Rights Education – Providing tools and knowledge about human rights to empower participants in their communities. 
Intercultural Learning – Creating a space for mutual learning and breaking down stereotypes. 
Conflict Transformation – Helping young people develop skills to address and transform conflicts peacefully in their communities.
Who Can Apply?
Young people aged 18-25 (exceptions up to 30) from conflict-affected areas.
Those with basic English proficiency (the program is conducted in English).
People active in youth or community work, peacebuilding, or human rights projects.
Program Details:
Dates: July 1-8, 2025 
Location: European Youth Centre, Strasbourg, France 
Funding: Fully covered (travel, visa, accommodation, meals)
