Niko Pirosmani (1862-1918) Giraffe Niko Pirosmani - Legendary Georgian artist. His vast oeuvre encompasses a variety of genres. In addition to painting portraits, feasts and characteristic village scenes, he also created still lifes and animal images. However, the latter may certainly not be referred to as animalist compositions. The Metazoan world of Pirosmani is enigmatic and filled with mystical meanings. His animals are humanized, voicing and conveying a variety of traits and concepts with the viewer. The artwork is currently held and exhibited at the Georgian National Museum / საქართველოს ეროვნული მუზეუმი #ხელოვნება
