Silk Factory Studio - "Silk Gallery" invites visitors  to the exhibition of the works of Mariam Fridonishvili and Saba Narimanishvili, which will be opened on March 31 at 19:00.
"Echo, " as a precept and a mundane event, has several different meanings. An echo can be a sound, an exclamation, a song, or a word… An echo can also be a person's dialogue with themselves or with an artwork. Echo follows human lives constantly, like a caravan, and can even reach the point where the person may feel the infinite existence of life.
The exhibition presents mutual artworks of Saba Narimanishvili and Mariam Pridonishvili. Conception about the aforementioned exhibition arose from the dialogue of artists "what is the meaning of the word and how it can influence on a person’s inner world?" This condition is certainly both emotional and physical. The artists decided to conduct an experiment in time and space, where main point and question is the following - Will it be possible to continue this dialogue through painting?
The working process was independent and autonomous for both artists. During this period, the main sources of information exchange were various texts which were inspired from both poetic and musical compositions.
The word, surface, paint, different time and space became a sort of conduit for the dialogue of these two artists with different genders and perspectives. It is interesting to see how the echo will impact on the artists themselves and, of course, on the perception of the viewer because this exhibition is created with the motive that the dialogue started by two people can be first transformed into a source of thought and then into a conversation...
